The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound negative impact on the mental health of people in marginalized communities across the United States. Issues of isolation, anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, all have seen a dramatic rise over the past year. For LGBTQIA+ communities, where many of these issues were already alarmingly high, the impact has been even more concerning.
