Dr Simone-Skidmore is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and geriatrician at Mount Auburn Hospital. His academic and clinical areas of expertise focus on the care of older lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) adults.
He was also a member of the “HIV and Aging Consensus Project,” an expert panel convened by the American Geriatrics Society and the American Academy of HIV Medicine to develop guidelines for the care of older adults with HIV. He completed his geriatric fellowship training at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and his internal medicine residency training at Yale Medical School/Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Director of the Primary Care Pathway at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
