Liza Rice is the Administrative Coordinator for the Division of Education and Training at The Fenway Institute. Liza has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Connecticut. Liza has a background in case management and found a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ folks in healthcare settings. Having a background in non-profit healthcare work opened the path to the behind-the-scenes work that this administrative position offers. She found her way to Fenway Health after attending a training titled "How to Best Support Trans Clients"; the way that Fenway approaches healthcare, specifically for LGBTQIA+ folks, was inspiring. Liza joins this team with the intent of furthering the progress Fenway Health has made for marginalized communities while making healthcare a more inclusive, safe, and accessible space.
